Credit Limits and Terms


This guide helps explain Credit Limits and Terms within Vuzion CORE. 

Credit Terms define credit control rules for a particular Customer Class.  


To view and edit Credit Terms see the steps below  1. Login to Vuzion CORE https://core.vuzion.cloud  

2. Click Classic Panel located in the top navigation bar  

3. Click Billing in the top right corner  

4. Click System > Settings along the left navigation bar  

5. Click Terms under Finance  


Under the Credit Terms tab you can see a list of previously defined Credit Terms. You also have the option to Add New Credit Terms or modify existing ones by clicking on the names in the list.  

The settings you can edit are:

• Name of Credit Term  

• Due Period (number of days before an invoice becomes due for payment)  

• Grace Period (number of days after the Due Period before an account is to go on Credit Hold)  

• Hold Period (total number of days after the invoice that an account is to go on hold (Due Period + Grace Period))  

• Put Account on Credit Hold Manually/Automatically  

• Credit Limit 


Due Period is the number of days before an invoice becomes due for payment.  

Grace Period is the number of days after the Due Period before an account would go on Credit Hold.  

Hold Period is the total number of days after the invoice date that an account would go on Credit Hold (Hold Period = Due Period + Grace Period)

Credit Limits

The Credit Limit restricts a customer from buying new services while their account balance exceeds a set amount. A default Credit Limit can be set per Customer Class and can also be modified on an individual account basis.

Set a bespoke Credit Limit for an individual customer account

To set a bespoke Credit Limit for an individual customer see the below steps

1. Login to Vuzion CORE https://core.vuzion.cloud  

2. Click Classic Panel located in the top navigation bar  

3. Click Billing in the top right corner  

4. Click Customers in the left-hand navigation bar and bring up the customer you want to edit  

5. In the General tab, under the Financial Information section, click Edit  

6. Under Credit Limit Source enable the Customized for Account radio button  

7. Enter the new Credit Limit in the Customized Credit Limit box  

8. Click Save
